Trouble with the police?

At Letchers Solicitors, we have an impressive history in offering criminal defence services to the local community. Due to our convenient location we, at Letchers Solicitors, have quick access to both the police stations and the magistrates courts located in Southampton, The New Forest, Bournemouth, and the surrounding areas including Salisbury.

We take part in the police station duty rotas for Lyndhurst and Bitterne Central and we are enrolled on the court duty rotas for Southampton and Lyndhurst Magistrates Courts. Here at Letchers Solicitors, we are able to offer our clients:

Advice on summonses and charges.
Representation at magistrates court
Representation at crown court
24-hour access to a solicitor

To ensure we can act in your best interests, please follow these instructions if you are arrested or questioned by the police:

Say nothing to the police until we have been contacted.
If at an unsociable hour, contact our 24-hour service on 07767 457547.
Insist that Letchers Solicitor are called and never consent to being questioned without us.
Always exercise your right to have a solicitor present, then the police have to contact us as your solicitors.
Never sign the custody record saying you do not want to see a solicitor.
