Cath joined the firm in February 2022 and is a Partner and Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer within the Family Department, based in the Ringwood office. She has over 20 years’ experience in all areas of family law, including divorce, financial matters, and children issues.

She advises clients on a wide range of matters, including pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, change of name deeds, and the complexities arising from divorce or the separation of cohabiting couples.

Cath began her legal career as a Legal Secretary in 1995, later working as a Clerk in Barristers’ Chambers before progressing her career by undertaking the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives course. She qualified as a Fellow Member of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2011.

Cath undertook her Chartered Legal Executive Litigation (Family Litigation) examinations and successfully passed in March 2026, further strengthening her expertise in family law disputes and litigation.

Cath was nominated for Professional Woman of the Year in the Dorset Venues Awards, recognising her as one of the most highly qualified women excelling in her professional field.

She has also been recognised in the Legal 500 and was awarded the Excellence Award, being named among the three best-rated lawyers in Bournemouth in 2021.

Outside of work, Cath enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren.
